Rohani Bixler, Principal Lawyer
As the Principal Lawyer at Olivetree Legal, Rohani is well placed to assist with questions about Wills, Trusts, and Estates. Rohani supports people to make informed decisions about succession strategies, whether in the planning or administration phase, or in the process of estate litigation. She has practiced exclusively in estate planning, estate administration and estate litigation since 2006, working with City, Suburban and Peninsula-based firms. She has extensive experience with the creation of bespoke solutions for complex family concerns, including planning for vulnerable beneficiaries, blended families and private businesses.
Linda Shepherd, Special Counsel
Linda’s experience allows her to provide efficient and affordable legal services in a relaxed setting.
Linda holds a Law Degree (Hons), a Commerce Degree and a Graduate Diploma in Insurance.
Megan Beer, Paralegal
With extensive experience in the aged care system as both a nurse and senior administrator, Megan is a passionate advocate for vulnerable members of the community, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and efficiency. Her exceptional administrative expertise coupled with her client-focused approach makes Megan a crucial part of the Olivetree team. Megan works primarily in the estate litigation team and is dedicated to providing personalized support and ensuring every client feels heard, understood, and valued.
Emma De Haan, Law Clerk
Hilary Mahoney, Office Manager / Probate Clerk
After 12 years in school administration, Hilary repurposed her strong organisational skills for the benefit of Olivetree Legal’s Probate team. Outside of work, Hilary is likely to be found near a netball court, working on her novel or in summer months enjoying the beaches of Merimbula.
Julie Daffey, Concierge
Julie is the Concierge for our Mount Martha office at Olivetree Legal. If you come into the office, you are likely to be treated to her warm greeting and an offer to test her tea/coffee making skills … we think they’re brilliant! Julie has transitioned from a long career in nursing and medical practice management into a legal office where she can put her passion for interacting with and helping people to great use. Outside of the office, Julie spends time with her six grandchildren and her beloved elderly black cocker spaniel. Julie is driven by a love for people and a commitment to helping them achieve their goals, which is reflected in her dedication to charitable work and committee involvements.
Tanya Burgess, Client Services

With a background in customer service and disability support, Tanya thrives in dynamic environments where she can assist others with a smile. Outside of work, Tanya enjoys spending time with her husband, 5 children and many pets. We all agree that Tanya epitomises the age-old adage … if you need a job done well, just ask a busy mum!
